Speaking while receiving the equipment, MP Jumaa said the aid has arrived at the right time and will help pregnant women in the hospital.
"This support we received today will help pregnant women who arrive at this center to give birth. We are very grateful," said Jumaa.
He said he is in the WhatsApp groups but he has never seen them provide help to the community like the KUNDI la WathAssp la Afya yangu did where he gave advice to other WhatsApp groups to follow that example.
The General Manager of the group, who is also the Executive Director of the Habarika 24 Social Network, Shabani Lulale said that as a group they were moved to help in the area following the health training they receive from health professionals who are members of the group.
"In our group we have doctors who give us training on various health issues where through that training we were pushed to raise money and be helped by other stakeholders and see that we do what we did" said Lulale.
